Lee Wainwright | Workshop Manager

With over 25 years in the motor trade, Lee brings a wealth of experience and qualifications, including NVQ Levels 1, 2, and 3, a BTEC National Diploma, and certifications as an MOT tester and MOT site manager. He is also trained in auto electrics, electric/hybrid vehicle systems, and air conditioning. After many years working for various employers, Lee felt limited in his ability to deliver the high standards he believed customers deserved. When the opportunity arose to manage Sheffield Autocare, he embraced the challenge and built a skilled, caring team delivering top-quality workmanship and a genuinely friendly customer experience.

Ammar Salah | Senior Technician

Ammar has over 19 years of experience in the motor trade and holds NVQ Levels 1, 2, and 3. He is also a fully qualified MOT tester. Having worked alongside Lee at several workshops over the years, Ammar was a natural fit for the team when the opportunity for a Senior Technician role became available. Ammar is known for his deep technical knowledge and outstanding work ethic, and he plays a key role in mentoring our two apprentices.

Liam Marimba | Apprentice

Liam is NVQ Level 2 qualified and currently completing his final year of Level 3. After a challenging start to his motor trade career with a previous employer, Liam has thrived at Sheffield Autocare and become an integral member of the workshop. He consistently goes the extra mile to ensure customers receive excellent service.

Kaci Loosemore | Apprentice

Kaci holds her NVQ Level 1 and is currently studying towards her Level 2 at GTA Doncaster. She joined our team in 2024 and quickly impressed us by completing her Level 1 ahead of schedule. We first met Kaci when she brought her car in for an oil pressure issue and amazed Lee with her technical understanding. It was clear she had strong potential, and we were thrilled to welcome her as an apprentice.

Joel | Technician

Joel joined our team towards the end of 2025 at exactly the right time. We were just about to launch a recruitment advert when he rang Lee to ask if there were any opportunities available. Being Level 3 qualified and an experienced MOT tester, he already ticked the boxes — and with both Lee and Ammar having worked with him before, we knew straight away he’d be a perfect fit.

It was an easy decision. Joel brings the right work ethic, the right attitude, and real experience to the workshop. He’s slotted into the team seamlessly and genuinely feels like the missing piece.
